Cheshire Child Care Registration

How to register for 3 & 4 Year Preschool, Kinderpals and School Age Childcare

Registrations are to be done in person at the front desk of the Cheshire Community YMCA. For your convenience, the registration forms and the handbooks for each program can be downloaded directly from this website. The links can be found below.  To download the registration packet, you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you do not have this program, you can request a hard copy of the registration information from the childcare office at the Cheshire Community YMCA.

After you have downloaded the registration forms, they should be completed and signed in black or blue pen.  The forms (2 copies) should then be submitted along with a nonrefundable $50 registration fee of per child.  All registrations must be done in person at the Cheshire Community YMCA in accordance with the registration schedule.

The two page Childhood Health Assessment form is also available for you to download and print. The front of the form is to be completed and signed by the parent and the back is to be completed and signed by the child’s pediatrician. We require updated physical forms on a yearly basis for preschool children and we also require them for kindergarten, third and seventh grade.  While not mandatory, we also prefer to get copies of updated physical forms for all children so that we have the most updated medical information for each child. Physical forms must be submitted to the Cheshire YMCA by August 15.

Monday, February 1, 2010 (7am) - Open to Current Participants of Cheshire YMCA Pre-School

Saturday, February 27, 2010 (8am) - Open to Public: Full Time (Mon-Fri) Only

Saturday,  March 20, 2010 (8am) - Open to Public: Part Time (M/W/F OR T/Th)

School Age Registration Dates-Before/Aftercare (Grades 1-6)

Monday, March 15, 2010 (7am) – Open to Current Participants

Monday, April 26, 2010 (7am) – Open to the Public
