Gymnastics
The Southington-Cheshire YMCA Gymnastics Center is looking for a part-time Gymnastics Class Instructor.  The position would include assisting with Saturday classes, afternoon classes, weekend birthday parties, Flippin’ Families and subbing when needed. Applicants must have experience working with children ages 3-10.  A gymnastic background is helpful but not necessary.  If interested, please call Nancy Bauman, Gymnastics Director at (203)272-7688.

General function: To provide maintenance and security functions during our busy weekend hours and fill in if needed on weekday evenings.

Position Requirements:
- must be over 18 yrs old
- must be available on Sunday mornings to open building
- must be self motivated, responsible and have a positive attitude
- must be able to certify in cpr/first aid
- must be able to lift 50 lbs


Child Care
Site Coordinator (PART-TIME) The Cheshire Community YMCA is looking for a Part-Time School-Age Site Coordinator.  Position is Monday through Friday 2:45-6:00pm.

Person must possess or meet the requirements to obtain a State of CT Head Teacher certificate. Supervisory experience desired. The Site Coordinator is to coordinate planning, development and implementation of all activities at a site. The Site Coordinator is responsible for developing a positive relationship and projecting a positive attitude in communications and interactions with children, parents, and YMCA staff in order to aid the growth and development of the YMCA School Age Program. The Site Coordinator is responsible and accountable for effectively supervising the safety and welfare of children in grades 1-6 for offsite programs
